Our design agency loves color. We house dozens upon dozens of Pantone color bridges, Pantone swatch booklets, Pantone-inspired books and even Pantone cups.
“What’s a Pantone?” you might ask. Similar to a sizing chart when it comes to clothing, the Pantone Matching System (PMS for short) provides an industry standard for colors. This is especially handy when we help clients choose colors for things that go to print or when we’re trying to decide on a color to paint our houses.
There are hundreds of sites that are devoted to Pantone charts as well as just color. COLOURlovers is one such popular site and features color combinations, color palettes and color trends.
Today, as an ode to all things Pantone, we’re sharing some of our favorite Pantone colors from our interactive, creative and marketing team. Click on the Pantone swatch for a bigger version.
Note to Design Nerds: Unless otherwise noted in the PMS, all colors are from the Pantone solid coated book. We’ve also included one color that doesn’t have a PMS value.
