LucidWorks, formally known as Lucid Imagination, was founded in 2008 and provides customers enterprise‐grade solutions based on the same proven Apache Lucene/Solar technology that powers many of the world’s largest e‐commerce sites. With Lucid Imagination, CIO’s can search vast stores of structured and unstructured data to achieve highly relevant results that drives business decisions and meets compliance goals. Lucid’s on‐premise and cloud platforms are quicker to deploy and cost less than competing products. The platforms are more easily tailored to fit specific needs than traditional business intelligence solutions because they leverage innovation from the open source community. Although LucidWorks continues to offer support, documentation, consulting services and training products for Lucene/Solr, the bulk of its revenue is derived from customers purchasing one of the two LucidWorks Platform products (LucidWorks Search & LucidWorks Big Data).
LucidWorks originally came to Eben Design with multiple disorganized websites that created a confusing message to customers. We worked with them to develop a website that was clean, modern, and clearly organized and explained their product offerings. Our detailed specifications process determined all of the intricacies of the sites and the wants/needs of LucidWorks; we then could create a website that effectively communicated with their clients.
